Responsibilities

  • Sales planning and pipeline governance: Translate the segment plan into regional and branch targets for acquisition, active customers, deposits, quality lending, fee income and product holding. Maintain a stage-based sales pipeline and run weekly funnel reviews. Coordinate campaigns, calling plans and activations with Partnerships, Product, Digital and Marketing.
  • Branch enablement: Conduct branch and regional performance reviews and agree recovery plans. Coach bankers in needs-based selling, women-centred conversations, lead management, product bundling and responsible sales conduct. Provide tools, scripts and opportunity lists, and share winning practices across regions.
  • Acquisition, deepening and retention: Drive new-to-bank acquisition and activation of women customers and women-led enterprises. Deepen relationships through deposits, payments, lending, insurance, digital services and non-financial support. Coordinate retention, dormancy reduction and win-back.
  • Credit conversion and portfolio quality: Improve application quality and track applications from lead to disbursement. Fast-track approved-but-undisbursed cases and reduce avoidable deferrals. Monitor early-warning indicators, arrears and covenants, and coordinate preventive action.
  • Customer experience and sales controls: Ensure KYC, pricing, disclosure, consent, suitability and documentation standards are met. Monitor complaints, turnaround times and drop-offs, and address gender-specific barriers.
  • Performance insight: Analyse branch productivity, funnel leakage and campaign results, and share frontline customer insight with Product, Digital and Partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in banking sales, relationship management or branch/business development.
  • Demonstrated experience in pipeline management, credit origination and portfolio growth.

Working Conditions
